IC Award
The Swiss IC Award is presented annually at the IC Forum to innovative Swiss companies, SMEs, and start-ups that excel in the field of international cooperation.
The Swiss IC Award recognises and celebrates Swiss organisations, SMEs, and start-ups that are making a difference by addressing global challenges at scale. By rewarding outstanding projects, the IC Award highlights Switzerland as a key platform for innovative approaches to international cooperation. It also engages local communities as essential partners in seeking sustainable solutions, and positions Switzerland and its partners as pioneers in promoting sustainability and resilience globally.
The IC Forum 2026 recognised innovative business ideas in the field of development cooperation. Federal Councillor Cassis presented three companies with IC awards: Openversum, which supplies drinking water filtration systems that create jobs at local level; Watalux, which produces solar-powered water treatment systems that replace chlorine tablets; and Ha Hu, which is developing an AI-equipped platform to help preserve and teach languages.
