Educational resources for schools
Here we offer an overview of our wide selection of educational resources on Switzerland’s commitment to international cooperation. These range from interactive and comprehensive course modules about displacement to thought-provoking and engaging materials about humanity. We also offer individually adapted site visits to the SDC in Zollikofen or by the SDC to your school.

WE ARE WATER
Without water, no life! Without action, no change.
Water is a resource that is essential for survival. At the same time, its conscious use is one of the greatest challenges of the 21st century.
Students can become part of the solution. With the 1 Million Youth Action Challenge (1MYAC), we invite young people around the world to get involved in creating a sustainable future. The initiative encourages them, individually or in groups, to take concrete action on four Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):
- SDG 6: Clean water and sanitation
- SDG 12: Responsible consumption and production
- SDG 13: Climate action
- SDG 15: Life on land
Whether it's saving water, planting trees, or consuming more consciously, every action counts. One small action can create big waves. Learn more
Visit the SDC or have the SDC visit your school
We offer talks and workshops on various topics related to sustainable development (e.g. forced displacement/migration, food systems, water systems, humanitarian aid during natural disasters and crises etc.). We adapt these to individual requirements where possible. We also welcome you to visit our head office in Zollikofen. We would be happy to assist you with any questions you may have.
Workshops «Dialogues on Humanity»
Humanitarian crises dominate the headlines every day and often leave us with feelings of helplessness and being overwhelmed. To make these topics more tangible, ‘Dialogues on Humanity’ offers creative museum workshops for schools.
Students engage with the following questions:
- The Living and Nature: Experiencing and exploring nature as an independent, living being.
- The Real and the Imaginary / The Digital: Questioning the boundaries between reality and the digital world.
Registration via EDUKI.
